Crystal Cook is a watercolor artist specializing in human and animal portraits. Crystal loves portraiture because of the intimate nature it provides. She has selected watercolor as her medium of choice because of the soft, warm glow it gives her subjects.

Even though she has had honors bestowed on her through national, state, and local competitions and has her work is in the permanent collections of museums, businesses, and private collectors; the most meaningful exhibitions for her will always be her childhood attempts at art that hung on her parents’ fridge and the painting her son requested to hang over his bed. Nothing is more satisfying and meaningful to her than the acceptance of those who intimately share her life.
